POWER PROG Releases: Age Of Artemis

POWER PROG is proud to announce that Brazilian Melodic Power/Prog

Metallers AGE OF ARTEMIS will release their second longplayer "The

Waking Hour" through the label. After our first cooperation with the

release of their debut album "Overcoming Limits" in January 2013.

POWER PROG has accompanied the band through the entire

development flow of this new masterpiece and is now looking forward to

bring "The Waking Hour" to you at July 18, 2014 as CD in Europe and

North America and as digital download worldwide.

Brazilian Metal band AGE OF ARTEMIS was formed in 2009 from the

idealization of drummer Pedro Senna and by involving prominent

members such as Alirio Netto (Vocals), Nathan Grego (Guitar), Gabriel

Soto (Guitar) and Giovanni Sena (Bass), all already known sizes in the

Brazilian Metal scene. Technique and musicality allied to different

influences exerted on each and including elements of Progressive and

Power Metal were their specifications.

With Edu Falaschi (Angra/Almah) they found the appropriate producer to implement their ideas into reality. The

result was the outstanding debut album Overcoming Limits, that receives extraordinary reviews until today and is

considered as a landmark of Brazilian Metal in the recent decade. Released in Brazil in 2011 via MS Metal Records

and 2012 in Japan through King Records, POWER PROG cared about the CD distribution in Europe and North

America and a proper and worldwide digital publishing of the album in early 2013. Decisive steps were done ...

Now we are talking about their second strike ...

"The Waking Hour" is an exceptional piece of Metal and much more ... individual, unique and trend-setting for one of

the most respected South American bands nowadays. Superb melodies alternate with instrumental refinements,

power meets progressive, technical skills are detached from emotional moments and elements of Brazilian folk

music refine the whole thing to a musical enjoyment which will not only inspire Metal fans. The protagonists are

beyond reproach and deliver a firework of styles and cross-genre excursions ... Without losing their straight Metal

roots and the necessary toughness! "The Waking Hour" has already now a secure place on the leaderboards of the

year, perhaps even in the current decade. This is an album that many genre greats would like to have made ... Now

it's up to AGE OF ARTEMIS to receive these entitled laurels!
