POWER PROG Releases: Amadeus Awad's Eon - The Book Of Gates (Special Edition)

POWER PROG is pleased to announce the cooperation with Lebanese

guitar virtuoso Amadeus Awad and his international and phenomenal

occupied Progressive Rock/Metal project AMADEUS AWAD'S EON. Our

first common goal is the worldwide digital release of the EP "The Book Of

Gates" as special edition with three bonus tracks at November 28, 2014.

Amadeus Awad is a Progressive Rock/Metal guitarist, composer, multi-

instrumentalist, music producer and sound designer from Lebanon. He is

most notable for being the first Middle-Eastern rock artist to collaborate

with an American artist along with other renowned foreign artists.

It was at the age of six years old that Amadeus first laid his eyes on a Richie Blackmore video tape, wherein he was playing in the Deep Purple California Jam. He was highly influenced and taken away by Richies performance and attitude and a strong desire urged him into doing the same. He formed his first Hard Rock band, Thorn Birds, at the age of fourteen. They mainly covered Deep purple, Dio and Rainbow. Leaving his childhood home and band behind, he moved to the Capital Beirut at the age of nineteen for the pursuit of his musical dream and career. After that he played in many cover bands until he started his solo career in mid 2010. The previous results are recorded in three already published releases ... "Ghost Stories" (2011), "Time Of The Equinox" (2012) and his latest EP "Schizanimus" (2013).

For EON and the concept EP "The Book Of Gates", Amadeus Awad and his congenial partner Elia I. Monsef (well known as the voice and mastermind of Heavy/Power Metal band OSTURA) were able to gather some great artists out of the international Rock and Metal scene to transpose an extraordinary and entertaining story out of the middle-east history, awesome implemented by the brilliant performance of the protagonists, that give the fantastic songwriting and the musical realization the crucial finishing touches. Go back to a puzzling, mystical and lost world and let yourself be enchanted ...

"The Book Of Gates (Special Edition)" comes as a 4-track EP + three bonus tracks of the EP "Schizanimus" (for the first time worldwide released).
