POWER PROG Releases: Daydream XI

POWER PROG is proud to welcome one of the greatest Metal pearls of

South America, Brazilian Progressive Metallers DAYDREAM XI, to the

family. Our first common goal will be the release of their debut album

The Grand Disguise worldwide as digital download at September 27th

2014!

Formed in 2008 in Porto Alegre, the quartet was able to realize their EP

"Humanity's Prologue" in a short time and could harvest their first

notable successes and an exclamation mark with this first release in

2009. This was followed by shows with bands like Angra, Symphony X,

the former Iron Maiden vocalist, Paul Di'Anno, and further highly

acclaimed live performances over the years. In 2014, DAYDREAM XI

was invited by none other than Mike Portnoy himself for the 1st edition

of "Progressive Nation At Sea" Festival and to share the stage with acts

like Transatlantic, Devin Townsend Project, King's X, Pain Of Salvation,

The Flower Kings, Spock's Beard, Anathema, Riverside, Animals As

Leaders, Periphery, Bigelf, Haken, Eumeria ... only to name a few ones.

This participation was a further boost for their career and caused great

attention, now also in the international Metal scene. The next doors

were opened ...

In April 2014, the band signed a contract with German media company POWER PROG and together they prepared

the album "The Grand Disguise" for a worldwide digital release. A phenomenal piece of Progressive Metal,

combined with other Metal styles, with an impressive songwriting, gorgeous melodies and highly remarkable

technical skills of the participants. The album was mixed by Andr Alvinzi and mastered by Jens Bogren at

Fascination Street Studios in Sweden ... best know for their work with acts like Opeth, Symphony X, Kreator,

Soilwork, Paradise Lost, James LaBrie, Katatonia, Hammerfall, Turisas, Leprous, Orphaned Land and many more

and thus best guarantors for an extraordinary listening experience and a world-class production! This debut

masterpiece will attract the maximum attention and will catapult Daydream XI in the top league of the genre. Of

these guys very much is expected in the coming years on that we can look forward.
